Gray is almost too easy for me - I own a ton of gray. I'm not sure why, I think because it is one of those neutrals that goes with everything! So, it was pretty easy selecting items for today's Neutral Challenge Gray day!
This sweater is one of my favorite finds from some thrifting I did this fall - it has really served me well so far!
I had some fun mixing different shades of gray today. Dark to light. I have items of gray clothing that have a little color too that I could have chosen, but for today I really pushed myself to have all gray. Just for the fun of it really. I like the result!
Plus, I'm warm, which is good since it was about 15 degrees here this morning! Why do I live in MN again? Ha ha ha!
Oh, if you ever had any doubts that I was a Muppet fan - look in the background of the last picture there - that's my Master Replica Kermit the Frog photo puppet. If that doesn't make me the nerdiest girl you ever met, well, then, let's be BFF.
Rundown:
Thermal shirt - Mossimo, Target
Sweater - H&M, thrifted from Clothes Mentor
Pants - Tangent, Maurices
Necklace w/brooch - Stella and Dot
Shoes - SO from Kohls
Earrings - Charming Charlie
I just love the monochromatic look of the all gray. The flower pin and necklace go perfectly with this outfit! Heather
ReplyDeleteAnother great look! I really like the sweater and the different shades of gray all mesh so well!
ReplyDeleteI really like grey on you and that necklace is so pretty! I really want to see the Muppets movie-will have to go soon! :)
ReplyDeleteHi. Nice to meet you and discover your blog. I'm loving this gray outfit you put together. I've looked back through several pages of your blog and am a fan of your style, not to mention your fabulous haircut!
ReplyDeleteLovely layers! Kudos on your all-grey outfit. Hope things get a little more sunny for you. Feel better. It's that time of year to get sick.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute sweater. I am already tired of winter, and it's only been a week.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of nerdy... I have an inflatable "The Scream" (Munsch painting) guy. His name is Eddie.
ReplyDeleteI love the sweater! I really like how the different tones break up the look a little, but without it looking as "chopped" as it would withgreater contrast colors.
Cute outfit, especially the sweater!
