The weather outside is frightful

But the sweater I'm wearing is delightful!  We got a good dose of snow here yesterday, which we've been long overdo for at this point.  Before the weather got ugly, I got out and did a fair amount of shopping in the morning.  Managed to get the majority of the Pants Monkey's Christmas presents bought and also his sister's.  And I met the lovely ladies of Two Birds and bought myself a couple of goodies at their sale with my remaining birthday money, which you'll see soon here on the blog!  Over all a nice day!

I got this super cozy sweater from my in-laws for Christmas last year. It was cold the day they went shopping, so my mother-in-law got us all sweaters.  I love the emerald color of this one!  Worked great while I was out and about, I didn't need to wear a heavy jacket even!

 

I was home well before the snow started, I was reading a book and looked up and was like, wow, it's really coming down!  It was the best kind of snow too, that sparkly stuff that just makes the little girl in me giddy, especially about Christmas!
