So far this week I seem to be following a color scheme. I'm sharing yesterday's outfit and today's outfit and they're both kind of in similar color families. They feel somewhat festive in a way, so perhaps I have Christmas on the brain!
I wore this skirt and new shirt and pin yesterday. And it was silly, yesterday was likely the coldest day of the whole week. I'm silly. Oh well. I wanted to wear the shirt and pin as they were birthday gifts and I thought the skirt dressed it up a little bit for work.
Shirt - Eddie Bauer, gift
Skirt - American Living, thrifted
Boots - Payless
flower pin - gift
Bag - Nine West
Today I'm trying out another outfit inspired by an outfit I saw on Pinterest. I realized I had almost everything to do it, not to mention, it was a way to dress up my colored skinny jeans. I'm really happy with how it turned out!
Shirt - St. John's Bay, JCPenney
Jacket - Mossimo, thrifted
Pants - Old Navy
Shoes - Etienne Aigner, thrifted
Necklace - Stella and Dot
The Pants Monkey has rejoined me in the land of the working people again, he is no longer on vacation. It was nice not having to be as quiet this morning as I was getting ready for work! My boss came back to work yesterday too. Everything is pretty much back to normal. And normal isn't all bad!
Happy Belated Birthday! I really love that skirt in the first photo and the jacket in your second outfit. Sometimes I realize that I have a color theme going after posting photos for a couple of days. I love red, so I like your color scheme so far :) Heather
ReplyDeleteLove that bag. My purse is bright red and Nine West too and I just love it! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYAY! I am glad everything is back to normal for you, I could tell work was getting to you a little. I like the red in these two outfits, especially this time of year, red is very much welcomed!
ReplyDeleteRed is always such a fun color to wear this time of year!
ReplyDeleteI love the classic black, white, and red look! That is a really cute blazer. Glad things are back to normal :)

I love the blazer with the skinny jeans - great look! I love your new fun skirt, but I feel like the top should be a little more structured and less casual to set off the fullness of the skirt. Great work on your outfits!
ReplyDeleteI agree on the top outfit, in fact, I think I could have fixed it simply by tucking it in instead of leaving it out. Something to try for next time! :)
DeleteLove both outfits!!! I immediately thought of pattern mixing and putting the bottom tops with the skirt!!
ReplyDeleteLove your jacket and red pants! Such a cute look :)
