Well I told you guys I'd try and get as much mileage out of this dress as I could before the winter was over! And while it sounds like we can expect at least another month worth of winter here in MN, I still wanted to pull it out again before it got too late! I just love it so much and I still have other ideas for it!
Sweaterdress - vintage, Salvaged Strawberry
Blouse - Decree, JCPenney
Necklace - S&D
Shoes - DSW
Also as an FYI, Salvaged Strawberry is running a huge 40% off sale in her Etsy shop. If you love vintage as much as I do, you should really check it out. If I wasn't on a shopping ban I'd totally be buying this sweater. Sigh, just a few more weeks!
Even though it's still winter, it is finally getting lighter in the mornings so outdoor pictures are getting easier again! It was plenty cold though this morning, as I'm sure you can see by my poses here! I'm not freezing at all, nope.
It's also staying lighter later into the day as well which I just love. It's making me less in hibernation mode to have it be sunny when I'm leaving work as opposed to it already being dark out!
Super cute outfit!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun dress, no wonder you want to get some mileage out of it before it warms up. The colors are bright and perfect for a cold sunny day!
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable dress, I see why you just can't get enough!
ReplyDeleteAlso now have Black Eyed Peas song in my head, but that's okay cause it is my favorite song of theirs ;)
The dress looks so cute layered with the blouse underneath! It is nice that it's finally getting dark a little later. I can't wait till the sun sets at 8 pm!

ReplyDeleteYou look cute - and cold - but cute! :) Glad you love this dress os much! And, I am putting that sweater aside for you. No arguments. I got it in a vintage shop in SanFran - I will give it to you next time I see you! xo
ReplyDeleteBethie! Yay! I love this dress, too. I swear I had one like it back in .... oh, it's not important when. Hey, I don't get the spending ban thing? Is it for the month of Feb? I am usually always on a spending ban but I think I break it whenever I drive by Target and my car just turns in to the parking lot and the next thing I remember I am swiping my Debit card. Hmmm?
ReplyDeleteLove your classic look with this dress. You look so cute. :)
ReplyDeletewoot woot! Way to remix, it looks great! ah, I love that it is staying lighter out longer, it makes me feel good leaving work during the day too!
ReplyDeleteIt's a light enough colour, you can totally wear it through spring, summer and fall! Ok, maybe not a super hot day in summer, but it would be great on those drizzly grey days, with a cute thing cardi!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is bright enough you can wear it through spring, summer and fall! Ok, maybe not those hot summer days, but on grey drizzly ones, with a light cardi!

Bare legs? crazy crazy friend! haha I do agree it's nice to see more light! I think dresses suit you so well!
ReplyDeleteHeehee! Love the dress, and I'm glad you're getting as much wear out of it as you can. I'll admit, winter is not my favorite season so I'm dreading more cold days. I do think you should try and stretch that dress into spring, but I know how weird that season can be.
ReplyDeleteThere is plenty of time left for cute sweater dresses in MN. Especially since that one is a nice light color that will work for spring.
ReplyDeleteVery Cute!! That dress is great can't wait to see the other ways you style it!
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks really cute on you! I can't WAIT for winter to be over. Ugh this snow!
