My newest favorite thing ever

Ladies and gentlemen I now present my "new to me" vintage sweater dress from Miss Amanda's Salvaged Strawberry shop.  I could.not.love.this.dress.more.  Seriously, my new favorite thing - I mean it's freaking plaid and has loads of orange!  I layered it up a bit as it's sleeveless and it's chilly out, but believe me, I have many ideas for styling this beauty.  It's going to be right up there with my vintage houndstooth dress as far as favorite remix pieces.  

 Sweater dress - Salvaged Strawberry
Cardigan - Christopher and Banks, from cousin
T-shirt - Mossimo, Target
Tights and boots - Target
Necklace - Charming Charlie


I am guessing due to the weight of this dress though I won't be able to wear it too far into the summer, it is quite warm, but I'll just have to get my fill of styling it up over the next couple of months!


The Pants Monkey said I looked all sorts of cute this morning.  I always know I have a winner when he makes a statement like that!  What is your favorite piece to remix?  What is your favorite new item in your closet?

    I feel the same way when my husband actually likes something I buy-that doesn't happen often! haha. I do love this dress. The pattern/color combo is unique and so beautiful on you! Great styling too with the colored tights. Enjoy your day!

    This is definitely going to be a fun piece to remix. I assume it's sleeveless? It's always nice when the hubby comments on an outfit too.

    Yes Bethie! Get photos of your snow. It doesn't stick around forever, gratefully. Oh my fave are my sparkle jeans. I can't get enough of mixing and matching them. They just may make another appearance soon. I love this ensemble today. Monkey is right!

    Those tights! They're a perfect match for that dress. I think my new favorite item has got to be the pants I just posted about...I think I have a new found love for all ankle pants with either a pattern or fun color. :)

    that is a great dress, indeed! i was thinking that i'd like to see it without the darker tee layered underneath it, but i know you gotta do what you gotta do when it's winter in minnesota. so i'm looking forward to seeing how you wear it again!
