Well, we just finished one of the bigger snowstorms we've had so far this winter. About 9-10 inches of fresh snow fell Monday and yesterday. Fortunately March snows do not tend to stick around real long! Anyway, given the weather, it seemed like a good day to pull out my favorite Christmas gift from this last year, my H&M sweater dress. Today I decided to try wearing it with my jean jacket. Slowly pulling things toward spring!
Sweaterdress - H&M
Jean jacket - White House Black Market, thrifted
Leggings - Target
Boots - Old Navy
Necklace - S&D
The other good thing about the snow yesterday is, we have good friends with access to a snow plow, so they came by and cleared us out most of the way. That meant we only had a little bit of shoveling to do which took us no time at all. Then we were able to hunker down with chili, grilled cheese sandwiches and some more episodes of The Sopranos (we've made it to the final season finally - eek). Not a bad winter night!
We got quite a bit of snow too. It was fun shoveling out this morning for work. A sweater dress sounds like a perfect thing to wear for weather like ours. It's warm, cozy and still stylish!
ReplyDeleteWe love The Sopranos. Watched every episode from the very beginning and then re-watched again. I think Seasons 3 & 4 were my favorites. Heather
Oh the snow. When will it end?! SO glad I'm leaving tomorrow for somewhere a bit warmer ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your dress and boots!

Yay, you remember who Buddy is! I haven't mentioned the name for months and you remembered. hahahahaha. Well that and the fact someone/thing was snapping those pics, huh.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit and I LOVE WHEN YOU OR I GET WH|BM STUFF AT A THRIFTY PRICE!!!
okay, I'll calm down now. (hug)
That sounds like the perfect evening. It doesn't look like we will have any snow this winter at all.
ReplyDeleteLovely sweater dress.
That storm is coming its way here tonight :( Thankfully it should melt quickly since it'll be 50 by Saturday!

Love your sweater dress, very cute! and lucky you to have friends like that. I shoveled for like half an hour before JB got home... it was a workout! haha
ReplyDeleteUgh, it's still snowing here! So glad that we don't have to plow snow (yay for apartment living!) and so glad it's stopped snowing where you are!
ReplyDeleteOooh, snow! Access to a snow plough??? Lucky you!x
ReplyDeleteYummy. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look super cute and cozy in this. :) I love the grey and tan together.
Yeah for sweater dresses and tasty dinners at home. We got some real snow last night too.. but it's gone already. However the wind and all that is the worst part about it. TN is too prone to tornadoes for my comfort.
ReplyDeleteI love this with the jean jacket! Adding spring touches is a great idea to get ready for warmer weather :) Chili sounds amazing!! I have to make some before it gets too warm out, I love the stuff.
ReplyDeleteThat sounded a great evening, and you were very well dressed for the snow -so cosy-looking! Really like the pattern on your dress.
