I stand by my decision to have chosen bare legs yesterday, but I did end up a little chilly in the end! So today I decided to go for a maxi skirt instead. Not to mention, there's no sun today and it's supposed to cool off as the day goes on. I am still sans tights though!
Shirt - Vintage Lee, Hill Valley Boutique
Skirt - Old Navy
Necklace - S&D
Boots - Mossimo, Target
Not much else exciting to share today. It was fun sharing guilty pleasures with you all yesterday! And I see I'm not alone in some of mine!
Tonight Mr. Monkey and I are having a rare weeknight date night. There's a fish and chips place we love but it's so hard to get into on the weekends, so we decided to try on a weeknight. Actually what we plan to do is pick up the fish and chips and then go across the street to one of the newer taprooms in town as they let you bring in your own food and enjoy our dinner with a couple of pints there. It should be fun!
I love that shirt! :) Please tell me you are going to Anchor - that's my favorite! :)
ReplyDeleteyou are a rebel going sans tights, lol! I am glad you are sticking to your guns even though it was a tad chilly. The maxi skirt is a great way to transition. Enjoy your weekday date night. That sounds like a nice midweek break :) Heather
ReplyDeleteI love it. You look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh, what an interesting idea to let people bring in their own food! That sounds like it will be fun :) Love this blouse so very much! The ruffles are darling and mirror your skirt beautifully :)
ReplyDeleteYay for bare legs! I think the maxi skirt is a good pick for this weird transition weather. Have fun on your date tonight!

ReplyDeleteOh! That does sound like fun! Yum, I love fish and chips :) And I have been bare legs since last week! I don't care. I did freeze a little bit on Tuesday though haha. LOVE this maxi and your top!
ReplyDeleteI love the Western vibe of this outfit - it would be great with a bigass leather/silver belt!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely date night. I'm off to see Billy Bragg in concert right after work.
Have an awesome time tonight!
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! I love this combo, very nice!
ReplyDeleteLurv the plaid and ruffles, such an 80's vibe! :-) Have a great date night!
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought "Little House on the Prairie" which I dearly loved as a girl, the TV series and the books. Only you've improved on the pioneer style and made it modern and comfy! The shirt with the ruffles is the bomb-diggety-bomb-bomb!
ReplyDeletehave fun tonight!! you guys always have such fun dates!! i can't wait til we can do all of this on patios!!
ReplyDeleteI love that shirt! It's a great take on the typical carpenters shirt.

How cute is that top! Your dinner plans sound magnificent and yummy too. I've managed to skip full tights a few days, but it's pouring down rain today. I wore pants AND knee high socks to fight off the chill and dampness.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your date night! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad Lynne said Little House on the Prairie... I was totally getting that vibe too!
ReplyDeleteI love weeknight dates - it really breaks up the week :) I hope you two had a great time and enjoyed a few pints!
ReplyDeleteWeeknight dates feel more special than weekend dates in my opinion. I love all the pieces here: Fabulous Skirt, Blouse & Boots. Those gray boots are amazing. =)
ReplyDeleteHave a Great Weekend Bethie!
