Happy Friday everyone! We have survived another week! And I survived our freak spring snowstorm. Fun couple of days around here, that's for sure. It's finally over now and we just have to wait for it to melt, which it should start doing today. That's the best part of a spring snowstorm! It's short lived.
It may have been cold and snowy yesterday forcing me to wear a sweater, but at least I could wear one that was springy in nature!
Pink thermal shirt - F21
Pink sweater - vintage, Salvaged Strawberry
Pants - Worthington, JCPenney
Necklace - from teen years
Shoes - Madden Girl, thrifted
So do you all have exciting weekend plans? I'm really excited for tonight. We're going to a show in St. Paul called Wits. It's a variety type show that features a comedian and a singer and it's broadcast on MPR (our local NPR station). The guests for tonight's show are Kristen Schaal (Flight of the Conchords) and Rufus Wainwright. We've been listening to the various Wits shows from the past and they just sound so fun, so I really can't wait to see one live tonight! The rest of the weekend will be pretty quiet and that is just fine by me. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend -stay warm!! :) xoxo

ReplyDeleteI hope the snow melts all away and you can wear sandals before you know it! (hug) to you, girl friend.
ReplyDeleteFun! Wits is great. Just FYI - MPR and NPR are completely separate entities. MPR is owned and operated by American Public Media, which distributes NPR programming from MPR stations (like Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and This American Life), while NPR broadcasts some MPR programming nationally - like Splendid Table and A Prairie Home Companion. - says the person who worked at MPR for two years. #themoreyouknow #tl;dr :)
ReplyDeleteI learned something new today! I honestly had no idea the difference - thanks Kimi! :)

That sounds so fun, Flight of the Concords is a great show! Glad to know we're not the only ones with a freak snowstorm in April, gosh we live in Arctic like cities! Very cute springy sweater.
ReplyDeleteWe went to a community fundraiser this weekend that was 70s disco themed. It was a total blast! How was your show?
ReplyDeleteI used to live in the Midwest (Chicago), and I understand the feeling that spring will never come. I live in San Francisco now where it's spring-ish year round. You look lovely even though the weather wasn't cooperating. :)
