I feel like a grown up version of Strawberry Shortcake in my outfit today. Something about the colors and the pattern on my sweater or something! Just give me a hat and some green striped tights.
Anyway, this skirt is another lovely goodie that the sweet Cambria gave me a couple of months ago. Hasn't been the right weather to wear it until now. It won't be 90+ again today but it will still be warm and nice out.
Sweater - Camy Couture
Tank top - Old Navy
Skirt - from Cambria
Necklace - Clothes Mentor
Shoes - Italian Shoe Maker, from cousin
For lack of much other exciting things today, I'll leave you with two images of Strawberry Shortcake if you didn't know what I was talking about. The one on the left is the Strawberry Shortcake of MY youth. The one on the right is the modern version....eh.
You look lovely Beth....great floral cardi:)

Love that cardi! I like the Strawberry Shortcake from our day. The new modern one, I have to agree - eh...
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that they redid Strawberry Shortcake! I like the old one better. Super cute outfit- I love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I loved Strawberry Shortcake! I had roller skates, the dolls, and a pink and white gingham checked dress with a screen print of her. I was even her for Halloween with the plastic mask, lol!
ReplyDeleteSince I love SS, I LOVE your grown up version today. The cardigan and skirt are lovely together! Heather
Great skirt - these are nice colours on you.
ReplyDeleteMy sister loved Strawberry Shortcake...I think she had the doll. That floral print cardi is so pretty on you!

the old ss is way better than the new one. and she had the most amazing scent. they should bottle that (they probably do).
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhy did they ruin strawberry shortcake? Sigh. The world just has to try to sex up everything doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love the tucked shirt with the untucked cardigan!
The classic strawberry shortcake is much better! :) Love that floral cardigan...so springy!

What a cute spring outfit! Sweet like Strawberry Shortcake- thanks for the fun flashback!
ReplyDeleteAll the newer toys lack humbleness the one on the right while trying to convey confidence just looks self righteous. You however look very pretty love the skirt.
ReplyDeleteOh LOVED Strawberry Shortcake growing up. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd you look great today! Yay for warm weather! I lurv the sandals!

Love your outfit!I had a strawberry shortcake bedroom as a little girl. :) Loved her!
ReplyDeleteI love the rich color of your skirt. I think you look amazing.
ReplyDeletePity how they try to redesign old favorites. I still refuse to believe the Queen Frostine from Candyland got demoted. Damn shame! I remember being obsessed with the art of that board game.
Yeah, I prefer the old school Strawberry Shortcake too. But my favorite 80s cartoon was Jem and the Holograms. Truly outrageous! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Girly Outfit. I love the skirt & the cardigan. You do look like a Yummy Strawberry Cupcake.
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for the explanation, I took you literally and thought you meant cake!
ReplyDeleteThe colours in this outfit are lovely, and also cake-appropriate :-)
