This isn't the first time I remember there being snow in May. My senior year of high school we had 90 degree weather the first weekend of May for our prom and then the following weekend we went on a senior band trip to Northern Minnesota and it was 30 and snowing. There are just no guarantees in Minnesota and yet, I do choose to live here!
Today we're adding our links to Marissa's blog, The Modern Austen, so make sure to head over there and check out the other Pantone challenge participants. And then send me some sunshine darn it!
You nailed it with Spring and Winter in the same outfit. That cardigan is terrific.
ReplyDeleteboth my kids were packing up hats and mittens for school. i told them they probably didn't need to be that extreme! but, you never do know!
ReplyDeleteArgyle! That is a great piece to get for your wardrobe, and awesome that it fits into the theme of this week!
ReplyDeleteMan, I am so sorry you are getting sour weather! When life hands you lemons you make lemonade, right? Your yellow argyle sweater is sweet :) $4 is a great deal!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to find a sweater for the color challenge today! It's super cute!
ReplyDeleteSnow again?! You poor thing! Hopefully your sunny yellow sweater will brighten up the gloomy weather :)

Sending you sunshine! Love the sweater. I hope it gets warmer for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI remember living in Chicago and we'd sometimes get snow in May. Weird weather is all part of living in the Midwest!
ReplyDeleteOh Bethie! I feel sorry for you and that dang weather. I laughed so hard at your "Go home Mother Nature, you're drunk!" When my HM and I are trying to point out to the other that what he or I have said is goofy, we say "Oh, you're DRUNK!" and the funny thing is we neither one drink. hahahaha. And Kudos on the Lemon sweater thrift purchase!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love that sweater! Great thrift find for $4. Hopefully this is the last of winter that we are going to see until next November or even December.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweater! Yellow is the best :)
ReplyDeleteLove your sweater:) Hope the weather improves soon!

OH! I have that sweater only in purple! It too was thirfted! :)
ReplyDeleteArgyle, yellow, and wide leg trousers? Yes, please. OMG I am so sorry to hear about the snow. I'm sweatin' it out in the 80s. Going North is sounding more and more suspect to me.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge fan of argyle :) You look awesome! Thanks for joining again.
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow Argyle and the baggy chic vibe!
ReplyDeleteoh man, if i'd seen this sweater at the GW i would have thrifted it too! it is a great argyle in such a cheery color. let's hope there are no more freak snow storms here in MN!
