Greetings everyone! Happy Monday! Hope you all had good weekends. Mine was pretty decent, a little busy but also some relaxy time which was great! I never did get my Influenster Vlog posted, but I promise it's coming (cause I know you're all on pins and needles to listen to my babbles again...ha). Anyway, it's Inspiration Monday and today we have Jamie Chung.
I went for the opposite of Jamie's look - instead of denim on top and white on the bottom, I did white on top and denim on the bottom! Nothing wrong with a little flip flop!
Shirt - White House, Black Market (From cousin)
Skirt - Old Navy
Sandals - Clothes Mentor
Necklace - Butterfly Boutique
Bag - 31 Gifts
Bracelet - Charming Charlie
Boy this white shirt sure does make my nice pale white skin glow all the more though don't it? I am your typical Scandinavian Minnesota girl - I don't tan, I burn. So, I just opt to not tan. Most of the time it doesn't bother me, but today I am just super translucent I guess!
I did a little bit of shopping with my mom yesterday. Clothes Mentor was having their annual summer sale so I grabbed a few more maternity pieces for summer. Mostly I've been worried about not having enough comfortable summer clothes to take on our trip to Northern Minnesota in a couple of weeks. I am no longer concerned about that! The deals were really great though, they were offering 55% off of all clearanced items, so you really can't beat that! I do love though that I still have so many items of my regular clothing that still fit - like everything I'm wearing today. Hooray for elastic!

maxi dresses are the way to go when you're pregnant in the summer! i wish they would have been popular when i was pregnant!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the fair skin. I don't tan, but my freckles all connect together :) That's the Irish in me I suppose.
ReplyDeleteYour flip flopped look is super cute. I agreen with two birds, maxis are definitely the way to go when you are pregnant. Wish they were popular when I was pregnant! Have a great Monday :) Heather

Blue and white is always a gorgeous, fresh combination-I love how you flipped it! This top is really beautiful and I love that I have a fellow pale friend :) We can thank our ancestors for that one, haha. Glad you found a sale for some more maternity clothes too! I bet it's difficult to think ahead to how much you'll grow/or not while pregnant. Elastic is a girl's best friend pregnant or not though, right? haha!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE your take on this, the switch is just perfect :) So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI would have reversed it too but it was too similar to what I did for one of the previous IM mondays! You look awesome and I am glad you got some maternity clothes! Hurrah!x
ReplyDeleteLoving the maxi skirt on you, Beth!
ReplyDeleteOh I know! Elastic is a maternity wardrobe essential! hahahaha. This ootd is comfy and cozy looking. Yes, 104°. Yikes. It is to be that all week. Which means my photo-shoots are going to be up against my LR wall for a while anyway (next week).
ReplyDeleteElastic is my friend too, and I'm not pregnant! :) I don't purposefully go outside to tan, but my skin does get tanned. My poor husband burns every time.
ReplyDeleteGreat twist on the inspiration! I lurv the skirt. Oh, and just an FYI, ThredUp has maternity clothes also!
ReplyDeleteOh my god! I've been away far too long! I had no idea you were pregnant! Congrats!! :) That's so exciting! :) You look great!
