It's getting to the point that I'm dressing for comfort as much as anything else. If I can be stylish, well awesome, but man, the bump is getting big guys. It's getting to be more and more of a challenge. And then you throw lows in the single digits above zero this morning and it becomes about comfort AND warmth. So this outfit is basically a repeat, I wore this combo earlier this Fall - but today I added my Mr. Rogers sweater for extra warmth.
You know what is not so much fun when you're pregnant and it's freezing cold out for the first morning of the season? Getting up early to take your car in for maintenance. I wanted to get it to the auto shop right when they opened - which didn't go exactly to plan, but I was still there within the first half hour so that counts right? I'm not excited to do this, it won't be cheap, but should keep my vehicle going for a bit longer and with the baby coming, it's still more cost effective than buying a new car.

I also got a haircut yesterday. I try to go about every five weeks - so my next haircut may not happen for a bit depending on this little guy's arrival! Crazy to think about that. Thankfully she cut it pretty darn short so if I have to put it off for awhile post baby, that's ok. Besides, I think I'll probably care a little less about it at that point in time! That's what hats and headbands are for right?
Looking lovely Beth and your hair is fab:)

Love the outfit and your haircut!
ReplyDeleteThat's the first thing I noticed - your new cut! I can definitely relate to late pregnancy comfort. You have been quite fashionable throughout your pregnancy and this outfit is no exception!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great!
ReplyDeleteStay warm, Beth! Those are some freezing cold temps over there!

i think it does wonders to wear bright fun colors when it's cold outside...plus you look great in red!
ReplyDeleteOh Bethie THANK YOU for your sweetest words. I sure appreciate it. Well, perhaps January may be an option. Let me think about it. Last week with Baby Z has made me feel like I am still clawing out of a hole around here. I only have so much time today to blog and that is how the rest of this month feels. I can't elaborate as to why yet, but ya. Remind me in a couple of weeks (if baby doesn't come early that is). You look so cute and comfy in this ensemble. You DO! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute look, it deserved a repeat! I actually really love the red sweater, it really makes the pattern of you top really noticeable. Also, when you have a badass haircut, your outfit comes second. :P
ReplyDeleteI've been seeing you leave lovely notes around the blogosphere and I have to say this -- YOU ARE A NICE PERSON. If anyone disagrees, let me know and I'll ride my motorcycle over to their house and beat them up. :)
ReplyDeleteReally cute mix here! I love the red cardigan :)
ReplyDeleteYa, so did my 1dd for Baby Z. Since she can schedule her C-sec then you'd think. But her due date was the 8th so, that would not have been cool to go past the date. C's always get scheduled earlier than the due date. It is so odd. All of her girls were 1-2 week early and were under 7 lbs. And Baby Z was just four days early and nearly 9 lbs and had lung issues. So I guess we never know. I am praying all the best goes for your's and your little guy! ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on posts! I was just thinking how cute your hair looked! I love it spiky. And you look beautiful and blooming. Pick comfort, I say xxx
ReplyDeleteLookin' good sweetie! I love that Mr Rogers cardi. I've been wearing them since October (it's freaking cold here and I LOVE it).
ReplyDeleteThat red sweater looks so cozy! I've been gravitating towards warmer colors too since IT's FREEZING!
ReplyDeleteBeing comfy trumps style while pregnant! I think you've been doing a phenomenal job of being stylish!
ReplyDeleteSpikey hair! YAY! I've got 3 1/2 weeks. Taking deep breaths every morning before a haircut.
ReplyDeleteTough morning, with the hold, eh???
