Oliver has started his coffee habit. Ok, I'm kidding. But he found my (empty) coffee mug last weekend and thought it was pretty awesome.
I was supposed to sing at a wedding last weekend but sadly due to miscommunication that didn't work out. I had stopped at Target on the way to the wedding to pick up a couple of things for Ollie and decided, hey, since I'm making a little extra cash today I'm going to treat myself. So I bought this adorable bag that reminds me of a Kate Spade style. Then I didn't get to do the wedding and didn't get paid so practical me said, maybe I should just return the bag. I was totally going to. But it kept calling to me. It said "let me live with you Bethie, please?" I couldn't refuse it's sweet little voice so I said yes. I also took to Instagram and many of you told me I made the right choice in keeping it.
On a separate trip to Target to get something else for Oliver (seeing a pattern here?) I also was weak and gave into temptation on two items I've been seeing everywhere between other bloggers and Instagrammers and well, I am a follower you guys. I want to be like the cool kids. So this mustard sweater and blanket scarf now live in my closet too.
We took a huge leap into the 21st century this week and said goodbye to our landline. It's so strange to me. But it was necessary, we were getting horrible service and we always both have our cell phones, so it was seriously just time. I mentioned on Facebook that it's strange to me that Ollie won't grow up knowing what a landline even is - and ironically, now his favorite toy is the old school Fisher Price phone!
