My name is Beth, aka Bethie the Boo. It was a childhood nickname for years, so I decided it would be a great persona for my blog.
I've been married eight years to my high school sweetheart,
Nate. He is my best friend and my rock and we have
so much fun together! We live in a Northeast Minneapolis suburb in Minnesota. We welcomed our son Oliver to the world on December 3rd, 2013. We also have two kitties, Taylor and Pippin.

I started this blog in 2011 as a way of documenting my style, learning to remix my wardrobe and become less bored with dressing for work each day. It has now evolved to be more about my daily adventures sprinkled in with some of what I've worn along the way. Since Oliver's birth, I also blog about my journey into parenthood and things I want to remember about his babyhood. I like to think of this blog as my online daily scrapbook - you'll find a little of everything here!

I work a 9 to 5 desk job as an administrative assistant for
the facilities team for a clinic system based in Minneapolis.
I love to sing and minored in music with an emphasis on vocal performance in college. I am a freelance wedding singer when the opportunity presents itself. I love sharing in a couple’s special day! I'm not currently singing with any groups at the moment, the group I performed with for a number of years retired in the spring of 2015 and I'm enjoying a little bit of a break for right now.
My other interests include drinking good coffee, brewing beer with Nate, eating out at fun restaurants, baking cupcakes and cookies, watching good
movies, traveling when we can and spending time with friends and family.
